Valuing Children Initiative (VCI)
I have worked with the wonderful Valuing Children Initiative since 2019 when this amazing organisation was a real life client for our strategic communications students at Murdoch University.
I am a member of a research team who collaborated with VCI during 2022-2023 to conduct a survey to see how adult attitudes towards children have changed since their inaugural survey in 2016.
Researchers from the University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University and Curtin University worked together reaching some 1000 adults across Australia.
The outcomes of the “The Exploring Australian Adults’ Attitudes Towards Children for a Better Future 2023″ report were positive in many ways with plenty of learnings to help improve children and young peoples lives with them not for them in decision making across government, business and education and beyond.
I feel very privileged to be part of this group of lovely people and their work along with the great causes the VCI work for and towards.
True North
I have worked with Matt Fenwick and Tristan Viscarra Rossel from True North Content on projects for the National Library of Australia, Engineers Australia and The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment in 2021.
True North is an excellent group of wonderful writers, content and UX people who work with Matt and Tristan across Australia.
I met Tristan at a Perth UXCamp. We have kept in touch since and managed to fit in the odd cuppa.
When I put the word out that I was looking for new work in 2021 Tristan asked me if I’d like to help with a project.
This was perfect timing and I am very grateful and happy for this opportunity! Thank you Tristan and Matt!
Australian Radio Network and 96fm Perth
It was a privilege to be the key note presenter for the Australian Radio Network and 96fm Perth at the Toyota WorkHorse Collective digital workshop in Perth in February 2021.
We had a delightful group of new and existing small businesses who took away tips and ideas for their digital strategy, content and web development.
Great to meet and work with Mark Pascoe, Kelly and Tahlia Marvin from 96fm in Perth and Kelly Barbuto in Sydney. Thank you!
A big thank you also goes to Valentina Borbone from Banter – my wonderful trainer colleague from our ADMA days and friend for putting my name forward!
Murdoch University
I have worked Catherine Archer and Renae Desai and the wonderful team at Murdoch University since 2018 lecturing and coordinating their Strategic Communications and Web communications units for postgraduate and undergraduate students.
I have taught units including digital strategy, research and analytics, campaign planning & strategy and social media to students in Perth and Singapore.
I may be biased but Murdoch students are super lovely, creative and awesome to work with!
Watercorporation
Content strategy, writing & editing for a website redevelopment project at the Watercorporation in 2019.

Curtin University
I have supported Katharina Wolf and Bridget Tombleson with their digital storytelling unit as well as with research for Katharina’s “Flipped Learning” project at Curtin University where I did my degree.
ADMA – Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising
From 2016 – 2019 I ran the Digital Marketing Certificate course for ADMA IQ – the education arm of ADMA. This was a great opportunity for me and I met and worked with so many amazing people during this time.
I handed over the reins mid 2019 as there were not enough hours in my day to the very capable Amanda Kendle who now runs the course/s in Perth.
A massive thank you to all of my fantastic students and generous guest speakers over the years! I couldn’t have done it without you!
Bankwest
I worked with the digital team at Bankwest as a content manager on a content re-development project in 2015. Great people and a big task!
